BACCARAT

You have three betting options in Baccarat:

  • The Player Bet - Pays 1 to 1
  • The Bank Bet - Pays 1 to 1 less 5% commission on a winning bet
  • The Tie Bet - Pays 8 to 1

The game is based on the number 9. Two hands are dealt. One is called the Bank hand and the other, the Player hand. The third is called the Tie Result. Your task is to pick which of the two hands will win with the total of 9, or the total closest to 9.

Once the bets are placed, the dealer deals four cards - two for the bank and two for the player. These totals are announced by the dealer. Additional cards may then be drawn depending on the totals present.

As the object of the game is to wager on the hand you think will have the highest value (9 or the closest to it), it is important to know the value of the cards and how they are counted.

Card Values

The Ten, Jack, Queen and King all have a value of 0.
The Ace has a value of 1.
All other cards are counted at face value.
